Computer System for Severe Environments
The Tiger Computer System is designed for military use in an extreme and severe environmental condition. The Tiger is a Pentium III based, ruggedized HP workstation that withstands severe shock and vibration while operating within vast temperature and humidity ranges.
Ruggedized Industrial Switch for tactical systems
This rugged ethernet switch was desing for use on armed vehicle, providing a building block of a tactical system. It is based on the standard CISCO WS-2955-T-12 industrial switch. The switch interfaces to external sources via a D38999 military type connectors. The MTES is designed for long and trouble free service.
Ruggedized Computer System
The latest upgrade to the Viper family is the Viper III system which is an HP 9000, C-360 CPU workstation that is completely repackaged by CSTS to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed.
The Viper II Computer System is an upgrade to the Viper I which has the latest HP 9000, C-180 CPU workstation that was completely repackaged by CSTS to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed.
Ruggedized Computer System
The Viper I System is an HP 9000 with a 725 CPU workstation which was completely repackaged by CSTS to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed.
Form-Fit-Function Replacement
The DSP Power Supply P/N 1020610-100, manufactured by CSTS, Inc. is a direct Form Fit Function replacement to an existing Power Supply, P/N 681R267G01, NSN 6130-01-080-1216WF manufactured by Westinghouse. The Power Supply Assembly is a Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) installed in the Digital Signal Processor (DSP) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). The Power Supply provides regulated electrical power to the Digital Signal Processor (DSP). The DSP is an LRU in the APG-66 Radar System installed in Blocks 1,5,10 and 15 of the F-16 Aircraft.
CSTS' new DSP Power Supply overcomes all the existing problems of the original power supply. It is a full form-fit-function replacement assembly.
Form-Fit-Function Replacement
The PSP Power Supply P/N 1020470-100, manufactured by CSTS, Inc. is a direct form-fit-function replacement to an existing Power Supply, P/N 758R804G01, NSN 6130-01-243-3059WF manufactured by Westinghouse. The Power Supply Assembly is a Shop Replaceable Unit (SRU) installed in the Programmable Signal Processor (PSP) Line Replaceable Unit (LRU). The Power Supply provides regulated electrical power to the Programmable Signal Processor (PSP). The PSP is an LRU in the APG-68 Radar System installed in Block 30/40 of the F-16 Aircraft. The environmental requirements, i.e., heat, cold, temperature cycling, vibration, shock, corrosion, EMI/RFI etc. are identical to the original Power Supply specification.
Solid State Memory Unit
The SSMU is a solid-state, direct replacement to an electro-mechanical tape unit. The SSMU is installed on board the E-2C Flying Radar. The system was designed to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed.
Hawk Battery Simulator
The HBS was designed to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed. The HBS is used to simulate the Hawk battery during military field operator training.
Warning and Caution Unit
The WACU is a direct replacement to an existing unit in the Bell-212 helicopter. The system was designed to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed. Additionally, it provides NVG capability and easy lamp replacement to the pilot.
Direct Aircraft Replacement Part
The Switch Panel is a direct replacement to an existing unit in the CH-53 Helicopter. The system was designed to withstand severe shock and vibration while operating over wide temperature and humidity ranges. The entire system is EMI/RFI shielded and environmentally sealed. It also provides NVG capability to the pilot.
Protocol Converter System
The PCS provides an interface between a class I JTIDS (Joint Tactical Information Distribution System) Terminal commonly referred to as a HIT (Hughes Improved Terminal) and Hughes Data Processing Equipment referred hereinafter as the RPC (RAP Production Computer). The PCS supports bi-directional synchronous and asynchronous data communication.
Computer Integrated Terminal
The CIT is a replacement debugging terminal ALM 56C and ALM 56M airborne computers. It provide tools to test and analyze the airborne computer's software and hardware performance. The CIT capabilities include memory and register display and editing, loading or saving program and data memory. It provides a view of the instructions and allows for single stepping, setting breakpoint conditions, counting memory, register and instruction operations, and real-time capture of computer execution.
Serial Communications Interface Device
The SCID provides a gateway between legacy tactical data links and an air defense network. It utilizes CSTS' Intelligent Serial Communication boards to support up to 128 channels of synchronous and asyncronous, bi-directional and full duplex, communication data links. Some of the supported link types include Link 11B, FAA Flight Plan, Navcan Flight Plan, ICAO Flight Plan, AFWA Weather, ADCCP, LAPB, Lateral Tell and Forward Tell. It also provides remote administration using a web-browser and SMTP support.
